Razor Sharks Capture 5-3 Win at Greensboro Grounds
The Mesa Razor Sharks knocked off the Traverse City Bears, 5-3, in Eastern AA action at Greensboro Grounds. Mesa pitcher and New York, native John Sherline had an outstanding performance. The Razor Sharks, now 2-0, have hit the ground running this season.

The most important at-bat for Mesa came in the top of the ninth inning, when third baseman Adam Persons stroked a 2-1 fastball to center for a 2-run single, putting Mesa up, 5-3.

"I'm proud to be a part of what we've got going on here," Sherline told the Mesa News. "It's a great group and we're happy with the win."
