The Encinitas Eskimo Brothers picked up a win at Razor Sharks Ballpark, knocking off the Mesa Razor Sharks, 4-3. Starting pitcher Justin Watson played a key role in the triumph. The win gives the Eskimo Brothers a record of 2-1.

Encinitas used a well-timed hit by George Foote to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Eskimo Brothers ahead, 2-1. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

Watson attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."
