The Boise Dread Kings beat the Mesa Razor Sharks by a score of 9-5. Boise third baseman Bill Jackson deserved the lion's share of the credit. Jackson slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice for the Dread Kings. With the loss, Mesa sinks to 2-1.

With Boise leading 2-1 in the top of the third, Jackson hit a changeup from Heriberto Hernandez for a grand slam home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Dread Kings ahead, 6-1.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Jackson.
