Despite a fine performance by first baseman Juan Andrade, the New York Nightmare lost to the Toronto Trash Pandas, 12-8. Andrade went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The win went to Cory Gregerson in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Allan Clemente took the loss. Getting the save was Chris Booth, his 6th.

Keagan Deming drew 2 walks in 3 plate appearances. He scored 2 runs for Toronto. The 27-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the ninth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 7-7 tie with a run-scoring walk off Allan Clemente. It was his 8th walk of the season.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Toronto skipper Walt DeRosier.

New York, with the loss, is 6-14.
