Toronto Sent Home with 7-4 Loss

The New York Nightmare beat the Toronto Trash Pandas, 7-4, at Nightmare Stadium. John Osterman was 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The 23-year old shortstop was a menace to Toronto all day. Jose Contreras, the winner, goes to 2-1. He allowed 4 runs on 9 hits, with 2 walks and 2 strikeouts over 5.1 innings. Adam Holland collected save number 6.
In the bottom of the fourth, the Nightmare took the lead, 5-3, when 2020 Rookie of the Year Award winner Ben Callahan drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
"Nice to tuck this win away," said Osterman.
With the win, New York improves its record to 10-9.
