Win Lifts Caribou to 10-8
|
Vancouver center fielder Gerardo Romero played a vital role in his team's 7-4 conquest of Austin. He went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for Vancouver. The Desperados fall to 7-11 and continue their sputtering start to the 2025 season.
With the game tied, 1-1, in the bottom of the sixth, Romero had a key at-bat for Vancouver. With the bases loaded, Romero hit a 2-run single off Steve McClung, making the score 3-1, Caribou.
"You look inside of the game, it's just quality approach after quality approach," said Caribou manager Pete Clark.
