Cincinnati Beats Charleston in Extra Innings
The Cincinnati Royals electrified the home crowd with a walk-off win.

The Cincinnati Royals beat the Charleston Sea Dogs, 5-4, in 10 innings at The Castle. Cincinnati designated hitter Jason Paulsen had an outstanding performance. He went 2-2 with a home run and a triple. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Dane Roberts earned the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.1 innings. He upped his record to 2-0.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With two out, Paulsen hit a fastball from Antonio Sanchez for a solo home run. The Royals, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"The house was rockin'," said Paulsen.

The Royals, now 14-4, have been sizzling early on.
