The Indianapolis Eagles banked on Paul Mitchell and he turned in a masterful performance. The left-hander kept the Daytona Beach hitters in check. The final score was 2-1, Eagles. The Sea Turtles fall to 6-11 and continue to sputter in the early going.

Making an impact for the home team was Jerry Robinson. In the bottom of the sixth, the top prospect had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. That made the score 2-0, Eagles.
