The Maine Pines picked up a win at Oakhurst Field, knocking off the Carolina Reapers, 8-0. On the mound for Maine was left-hander Matt Graham. He played a key role in the triumph. Graham got the win, improving to 2-0. He gave up 7 hits and walked 1 over 7.2 innings. He allowed no runs. Carolina, at 4-13, is off to a poor start in 2026.

The outcome was still in doubt with two out in the top of the sixth inning, but Graham was able to pitch out of a jam. With runners on 2nd and 3rd and Carolina trailing 2-0, Graham retired Ryan Burchett, who grounded out.
