Lusardi Shines in 10-5 Syracuse Win
The Syracuse Scorpions powered past the Detroit Giants, 10-5, at Scorpion Stadium. Tom Lusardi provided some of the pop. He was 4 for 5 with 2 triples and 2 doubles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Now 7-10, the Giants have not played well this season.

Nate Volk hit a bases-clearing double off Julian Bryant in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Scorpions in front, 7-4. In addition to the double, Volk had 1 single, while going 2 for 5.

"Enjoyed this one," Lusardi told the Syracuse Today. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
