Ramos has 4 hits to Power Scorpions Offense
The Syracuse Scorpions cut down the Fountain Hills 23ers by the score of 10-6, with the largest share of the credit going to shortstop Guillermo Ramos. Ramos was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Scorpions. Syracuse is off to a sluggish start, getting just their 6th win in 17 games.

Bobby Tapia had a big 2-run double for the Scorpions in the bottom of the first inning. With Syracuse trailing 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a changeup from Juan Fernandez, who finished 4th in the AC in strikeouts with 229 last year, and swatted a double to center. It was his 1st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Scorpions ahead, 2-1.

"It's a long season," said Tapia. "We'll keep working to improve."
