Reyes Homers Twice in 9-4 Reapers Win
|
The Carolina Reapers and Indianapolis Eagles completed their game despite the inclement weather.
The Carolina Reapers trumped the Indianapolis Eagles, 9-4, at Reedy River Stadium. Carolina left fielder Moises Reyes was terrific. He slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. The win moves Carolina to a record of 7-10.
With Carolina trailing 4-3 in the bottom of the fifth, Reyes hit a sinker from Nick Horrocks for a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Reapers ahead, 6-4.
"Where are all my critics now?" said Reyes. "Tell them they know where to find me."
