Royals Lose to Eagles, 4-2
|
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Indianapolis Eagles and Cincinnati Royals.
Behind an impressive start by Aaron Daniels, Indianapolis beat Cincinnati, 4-2. James Gibson earned the save for Indianapolis, his 4th.
Indianapolis relied on the bat of Bobby Butler to get the win. The second baseman produced a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Eagles ahead, 3-1. For the game, Butler had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
"Aaron knows how to get ahead of hitters, stay ahead of hitters, and put people out," said Indianapolis manager Pete DuBay.
Losses have been rare for the Royals, who are now 11-4.
