The Dallas Dragons had no problem beating the Halifax Heathens, 11-0, at Tennant Healthcare Ballpark. Chris Beasley, who finished 5th in the AC in OPS with .972 in 2018, led the onslaught. He was 3-4 with 2 home runs and a double. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2 for Dallas. Glenn Ward, who went 7 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with no runs on 4 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 10. His record now stands at 2-1. The Dragons, now 10-5, have been red hot.

With no one out in the bottom of the second, Akihide Sera barreled up a slider from Chris Stoddard. The result was a 2-run home run, putting the Dragons in front, 3-0.

"We won," Sera told assembled media after the game. "I guess that's all that really matters."
