Blake Swings Royals to 6-5 Win
Dedicated fans weathered the storm to watch their beloved Royals beat the Eagles.

Led by Jerry Blake, the Cincinnati Royals defeated the Indianapolis Eagles, 6-5. Blake was 4-4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Royals. At 11-3, the 2025 Royals have been excellent so far.

Blake had an important at-bat with a runner on 2nd in the bottom of the eighth, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Royals went on to win.

"I like the vibe in the clubhouse after a win," said Blake. "It sure beats the alternative."
