Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Whistlers
The Boston Whistlers picked up a win at Whislters Park, knocking off the Syracuse Scorpions, 2-1, in 10 innings. Starting pitcher Antonio Higuera played a key role in the triumph. Mark Dudley, who led the AC in saves with 44 in 2019, was the winner in relief. His record is now 2-0. The losing pitcher was John Landgren. The Scorpions drop to 4-9, as their stumbling start to the 2022 season continues.

The Whistlers got a clutch hit from center fielder Dillon Rodriquez. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Whistlers.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Rodriquez.
