Bill Mosher was superb against Detroit. The right-hander had a slider that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a 23ers victory. The score was 5-1. The Giants fall to 4-9 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2025 season.

Fountain Hills used the timely hitting of Joe Carroll to capture the win. The catcher stroked a bases-clearing double in the top of the seventh inning to put the 23ers on top, 4-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but he made it count.

"I think every team will tell you that the pitching sets the tone, especially the starters," said Fountain Hills skipper Efren Nieman.
