Hollywood picked up a win at Hollywood Grounds, bumping off the Halifax Heathens, 7-3. Pitcher Matthew Rowlands was a major reason the Stars emerged victorious. Rowlands picked up the win for Hollywood, going 7.2 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 1-2. Picking up his 1st save was 26-year old left-handed pitcher Jason Hollenbeck.

Marco Madrigal went 2-4 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Hollywood. The 26-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth.
