Heathens Clip Sea Dogs, 2-1, in WS Contest

The Halifax Heathens are one game away from a sweep after slipping past the Charleston Sea Dogs, 2-1, in a low-scoring contest at Ballpark of Charleston. Leading the way for the Heathens was left-hander Andy Swift. He threw 7.1 innings of shutout ball. Halifax now holds a 3-0 advantage in the best-of-7 World Series.
Swift, who was born in Montebello, California, threw 90 pitches over 7.1 innings, while allowing no runs.
"Runs were at a premium," said Halifax manager David Morris.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ballpark of Charleston in Charleston.
