Rockets Rally Past Partons to Claim 2-1 Series Lead
The Huntsville Rockets nearly wasted a strong game from starter Michael Harkins, but were saved by some timely hitting in a 9th inning walk-off win over the Dollywood Partons today.

Harkins pitched well in the 3-2 win at Ballpark of Austin. He threw 5.2 innings allowing 2 runs. The win allowed Huntsville to seize a 2-1 lead in the best-of-7 World Series.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Huntsville left fielder Vinny Torres, facing Gregg Daugherty, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Rockets the 3-2 win.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Torres said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ballpark of Austin in Huntsville.
