Charleston Moves on to Championship Series
|
All playoffs end with joy on one side and despair on the other. Today, the Charleston Sea Dogs are the ones feeling overwhelmed with excitement, and the Cincinnati Royals are the ones thinking about what they could have done differently.
The Sea Dogs took a 3-2 victory at Ballpark of Charleston today, which gave Charleston a 4-2 series win.
With the win, Charleston will advance to play in the Championship Series.
"We aren't ready to go home yet," said Sea Dogs right fielder Ernesto Ramirez, who was named series MVP.
The Charleston Sea Dogs don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Maine Pines - San Diego Fleet series. Maine leads the series 3 games to 2. The Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
