Road Win Lifts Huntsville to 1-0 Lead in WS
The World Series got off to a quiet start, with the traveling Huntsville Rockets taking a low-scoring, 2-1 win over the host Dollywood Partons. Huntsville left-hander Dan Herbert was marvelous at Dolly Parton Ballpark. The Rockets now hold a 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Curt Lirette came through with a big-time hit for Huntsville. The third baseman smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 2-0. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"We have a lot of confidence in Dan," said Huntsville manager Alec Roller.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Dolly Parton Ballpark in Pigeon Forge.
