Miranda, Fleet Wallop Aztecs in Game 4 of DS
Riding the 3-hit performance of first baseman Carlos Miranda, the San Diego Fleet flattened the Mexico City Aztecs, 15-2, in Game 4 of the Divisional Series. Miranda went 3 for 6 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 6 for the Fleet, who now lead 3-1 in the best-of-7 series.

San Diego used a well-timed hit by Mark Torres to capture the win. The right fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Fleet ahead, 3-2. Though it was his only hit in 6 at-bats, it was important.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Miranda.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Gran Estadio Azteca in Mexico City.
