Sea Dogs Clip Royals, 4-3, in DS Contest

The Charleston Sea Dogs got a strong game from starter Sean Stevens, but it was some clutch hitting that ultimately delivered the win.
The Sea Dogs took the 4-3 win over the Cincinnati Royals in Game 2 of the Divisional Series in a 9th inning walk-off. The win capped off a fine outing for the left-handed Stevens. Stevens threw 5.1 innings of 4-hit ball in the win, which brought the Sea Dogs into a 1-1 tie in the best-of-7 series.
The decisive blow was delivered by Nelson Ziersch in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run home run off 33-year old left-handed pitcher Roberto Salazar to win the game for Charleston. The home crowd went nuts.
Charleston manager Chad Hart praised his team's "businesslike approach."
Game 3 is scheduled for Thursday at The Castle in Cincinnati.
