Marauders Advance to Championship Series
The excitement in Philadelphia is palpable as the local club has advanced through the Divisional Series.

The Philadelphia Marauders downed the Boston Whistlers 12-9 tonight at Marauders Ballpark, to take the series 4-2.

"Things are going to get crazy in Philadelphia for the Championship Series. The fans are going to be behind us 100 percent, we know that," said Art McDonald, who earned MVP honors.

"There's a lot of motivation in our clubhouse right now to make sure we give them something to cheer about."

For the series, McDonald hit .409 with a .480 on-base percentage. He had 9 hits, 2 home runs, 4 RBI and scored 6 runs.

The Philadelphia Marauders will play against the Halifax Heathens in the next round. Halifax won their series against the Dallas Dragons 4 games to 0. The Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
