Almost There: Boston On Cusp of DS Triumph After 5-3 Win
Riding the 3-hit performance of catcher Paul Simister, the Boston Whistlers got a road win against the Philadelphia Marauders, 5-3, in Game 4 of the Divisional Series. Simister was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Whistlers, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 3 games to 1.

Simister had an important at-bat with a runner on 3rd in the top of the eighth, when he hit a run-scoring single. The Whistlers went on to win.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Boston manager Mike Plocher.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Marauders Ballpark in Philadelphia.
