The Cincinnati Royals started the Divisional Series in style, winning on the road against the Maine Pines at Oakhurst Field by a score of 4-1 to take an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Royals left-hander Josh Huggins threw 6.1 innings of shutout ball.

Huggins, who was born in Martinez, California, threw 95 pitches over 6.1 innings, while allowing no runs.

"Josh did a good job of managing their lineup," said Cincinnati manager Justin Aaron.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Oakhurst Field in Portland.
