Whistlers Hammered by Smith, Drop Game 4 to Heathens
The Halifax Heathens defeated the Boston Whistlers, 7-3, in Game 4 of the Divisional Series. Making an impact was second baseman Chance Smith, who was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles. The win moves Halifax into a 2-2 tie with Boston in the series.

Chris Epstein aided the Halifax cause with a 2-run double in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the left fielder went 1-3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Smith.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Estadio Azteca in Halifax.
