Invaders Even With Aztecs After Home Win
The Oakland Invaders defeated the Mexico City Aztecs, 6-2, in Game 2 of the Wildcard Game. Doing his part was starter Dennis Allen, who threw 6.2 innings of 4-hit ball. The win moves Oakland into a 1-1 tie with Mexico City in the series.

With one out in the bottom of the seventh, John Hunt had a game-changing hit. The Invaders third baseman slammed a 2-run single off Chris Booth, making the score 6-2, Oakland.

Hunt said his team "played with focus."

Game 3 is scheduled for Tuesday at Gran Estadio Azteca in Mexico City.
