In a pivotal Game 5, the Cornwall Royals were hoping for a big game from starter Angelo Quezada. They got one.

The right-hander shut out the Augusta Capitols, proving to be the difference-maker as he led his club to a 1-0 victory. The Royals took the 1-0 win over the Augusta Capitols to seize a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Augusta could barely put a dent in Quezada. The right-hander tossed 91 pitches over 7.1 innings for the Royals, allowing only 4 hits.

"Angelo was the star," said Cornwall manager Jon Williams.
