The bats were silent for much of the day at Ballpark of Stockton. But Stockton third baseman Devin Terry conjured up just enough offense to carry the Ragin Cajuns past the Augusta Capitols, 3-0. In a game dominated by the pitching staffs, Terry belted 2 home runs. The win brought Stockton into a 2-2 tie with Augusta in the best-of-7 series.

Augusta had runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the sixth. With no one out, Ben Hurt stood at the plate, hoping to find a gap. Instead, he hit into a double play. The score remained 2-0, Stockton. The Capitols never could mount a comeback.
