Stockton Breaks Through for First Win in Division Series; Now Trails 2-1
The Stockton Ragin Cajuns have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Augusta Capitols, winning, 3-1, at Ballpark of Stockton. Ragin Cajuns left-hander Scott Barth threw 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball. The win cuts the deficit facing the Ragin Cajuns to 2-1 in the best-of-7 Division Series.

Devin Lepp dealt the Capitols a blow in the bottom of the third. Batting with runners on 1st and 2nd and Stockton leading 1-0, Lepp hit a 3-1 sinker for a 2-run triple.

"Tough loss," said Augusta manager Joel Braddock. "But that's how the cookie crumbles."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ballpark of Stockton in Stockton.
