Cornwall Advances to League Championship Series
Cornwall Royals won a nail-biting series against the Hamilton Bulldogs 4-3, wrapping up the Division Series finale 6-1 at King George Park.

Royals second baseman Adam Mathis was named the series MVP.

He batted .364, drove in 6 runs and scored 2 to lead Cornwall into the next round of play.

"Adam was real solid for us, real solid," said Royals manager Jon Williams. "I normally say I'd like to have nine of him out there, but thankfully we got by with just one this time."

The Cornwall Royals will play against the Augusta Capitols in the next round. Augusta won their series against the Stockton Ragin Cajuns 4 games to 3. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes..
