Road Win Lifts Winchester to 3-0 Lead in DS
With left-hander Marty Capone leading the charge, the Winchester Mountaineers got past the Riverside Rotters, 4-3, in extra innings in Game 3 of the Division Series. Capone threw 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball at Rotters Ballpark as Winchester managed to grab a 3-0 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Winchester needed the clutch hitting of Jason Hasiak to seal the deal. The left fielder swatted a solo home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Mountaineers on top, 3-2. For the game, Hasiak had 1 home run and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Riverside manager Hermenegildo Fernando said, following the tough loss.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Rotters Ballpark in Riverside.
