The Niskayuna Fighting Knights converted a terrific effort from starter Ayres Palhao into a win over the Savannah Alpines at Alpines Stadium. The Fighting Knights won the game by a final score of 7-1. Niskayuna has run its win streak to 4 in a row.

Niskayuna used a well-timed hit by Patrick McCall to capture the win. The catcher socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Fighting Knights ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"We put our best foot forward tonight," said a smiling McCall.
