Raucous EBDBBNB Park Crowd Propels Eskimo Brothers to 4-1 Victory; Series Tied at 3
The Encinitas Eskimo Brothers and the Corpus Christi Mermen will take the Division Series to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation, the Eskimo Brothers beat the Mermen, 4-1, at EBDBBNB Park to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Encinitas first baseman Jason Hoover was 2-3 with a double.

In the bottom of the fourth, Encinitas second baseman Sergio Soto had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 3rd and two out, Soto stroked a run-scoring single to left. It made the score 2-1, Encinitas. For the game, he went 2-3 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI.

"They say the first rule of the playoffs is to win the home games," Soto said afterward. "It feels nice, but it is kind of what we were supposed to do."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at EBDBBNB Park in Mobile.
