Cyclones Get Past South Pasadena, 3-2
Mt. Vernon Cyclones starter Adam Noland hurled his team past the South Pasadena Air Riders, 3-2. The first-place Cyclones improved to 70-52.

Jose Mora was the walk-off hero for Mt. Vernon. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Cyclones left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

Mora told a Mt. Vernon Citizen reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
