Winchester Takes Division Series
All playoffs end with joy on one side and despair on the other. Today, the Winchester Mountaineers are the ones feeling overwhelmed with excitement, and the Boise Dread Kings are the ones thinking about what they could have done differently.

The Mountaineers took a 10-7 victory at Ballpark of Boise today, which gave Winchester a 4-1 series win.

With the win, Winchester will advance to play in the League Championship Series.

"We aren't ready to go home yet," said Mountaineers second baseman Pat Grayson, who was named series MVP.

The Winchester Mountaineers will play against the Encinitas Eskimo Brothers in the next round. Encinitas won their series against the Riverside Rotters 4 games to 1. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes.
