The Barrie Admirals got a strong performance from pitcher Tommy Daniello, who stymied the Mexico City offense en route to a 4-2 win in Game 2 of the Division Series. The Aztecs could never get a bead on the right-handed Daniello, who threw 5.1 innings of 4-hit ball. The Admirals now hold a 2-0 advantage in the best-of-7 series.

Barrie won the game in part because of Bill Molohon. The right fielder ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Admirals ahead, 2-0. For the game, Molohon had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Molohon said after the game.

Game 3 is scheduled for Monday at Stadia de Leones in Barrie.
