Losing Trend Continues for Oakland
|
The Indianapolis Eagles dealt the Oakland Invaders a 4-2 loss at Howard Terminal. Jerry Robinson was the star on offense. He was 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The loss drops Oakland to 4-7.
Indianapolis took a 4-1 lead on Robinson's 3rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Cody Fields in the top of the sixth, propelled Indianapolis to the win.
"We're playing like we're capable of," said Indianapolis manager Pete DuBay.
