Royals Win 3-2 Walk-Off

The Cincinnati Royals snuck past the Charleston Sea Dogs, 3-2, in 10 innings. Cincinnati pitcher Juan Fernandez, in particular, had a standout performance. Wayne Harless, now 1-0, was credited with the win in 1 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 1 and walking 0. The triumph makes Cincinnati 9-2, as the team begins another long trek toward the playoffs in 2026.
The Royals got a clutch hit from designated hitter Brian Brewer. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Royals.
Said Brewer: "It's just one win, but it feels like more when you outlast a tough opponent."
