Good production from center fielder Manuel Rosas helped the Philadelphia Marauders topple the Detroit Giants, 7-6. Rosas was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Marauders. Vince Mellon got the save, his 26th in 27 chances. At 65-43, the Marauders find themselves in first place in the American Conference North East Division.

Rosas had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 0-2 curveball from Phil White, he banged a 2-run home run to left-center, giving the Marauders a 7-6 lead. It was the 17th home run of the year for Rosas.

"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Philadelphia manager Danny Ordaz.
