Multi-HR Day for Thum as Whistlers Overpower Trash Pandas, 11-4
Boston third baseman Gong-sun Thum helped his team beat the Toronto Trash Pandas, 11-4. Thum, who finished 4th in the NC in runs with 86 in 2014, went 2 for 4 for the Whistlers. The winner was Antonio Higuera, who threw 122 pitches over 9 innings. The right-hander was charged with 4 runs on 7 hits. With the win, Boston pushed its record to 56-51.

Steve Wooldridge hit a bases-clearing triple off Chris Torres in the bottom of the fifth, which put the Whistlers in front, 7-4. Wooldridge had 2 singles, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 3 for 4.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Wooldridge said after the game.
