Hollywood Stars starter Logan Mayhew turned in a top-notch performance against the Vancouver Caribou at Hollywood Grounds. The result was a win for the Stars, 6-2. Jason Hollenbeck finished to wrap up his 17th save. The Stars now have a record of 50-58.

Tim Schellin hit a 3-run home run off Joe Brackett in the bottom of the third, which put the Stars ahead, 3-0. In addition to the homer, Schellin had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.

"I think we did a good job of looking for pitches we wanted to hit and put good swings on them," said Hollywood skipper Alex Aguilera.
