The Vancouver Mounties converted a terrific effort from starter Justin Watson into a win over the San Francisco Fire at San Francisco Grounds. The Mounties won the game by a final score of 1-0. Adam Ryan got the save, his 2nd in 4 chances. The Mounties sport a record of 41-66.

Brian Massey, who finished 3rd in the NC in hits with 199 last year, had a direct impact on the outcome. Massey contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the first inning to put Vancouver up, 1-0.

"It was a solid team effort," said Massey after the game.
