Good production from first baseman Angelo Mejia helped the Detroit Giants topple the Fountain Hills 23ers, 12-7. Mejia went 3-5 with 2 home runs and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Giants. Dave Shevlin, who is tied for 6th in the AC in quality starts with 11, was the winning pitcher.
