The home crowd had a good time watching the Detroit Giants and Toronto Trash Pandas get after it.

In a tight game between the Toronto Trash Pandas and the Detroit Giants, pitcher Travis Anderson was terrific on the mound. The Toronto right-hander helped his team to the 3-0 win. Today's win puts Toronto at 60-45, while Detroit falls to 58-47.

Anderson tossed 116 pitches over 8 innings to clinch the win for the Trash Pandas. The right-hander allowed just 4 hits, while racking up 12 strikeouts in the game.

"Travis pitched his heart out," said Toronto manager Walt DeRosier.
