The Toronto Trash Pandas defeated the Montreal Maroons, 8-2, in National Conference action at Expo 67 Stadium. Toronto pitcher Frank Sarabia had a standout performance. The last-place Maroons have lost 7 straight games.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Min-tae Hoang? The Toronto third baseman had a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Trash Pandas on top, 5-2. For the game, Hoang had 1 double and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
