The Halifax Heathens topped the Hollywood Stars, 6-4, in American Conference action at Hollywood Grounds. The standout performance belonged to Halifax pitcher and Dayton, Nevada, native Adam D'Alberto. Jeff Buck recorded the save, his 3rd. With the win, Halifax goes to 6-5.

Leo Orozco, who finished 3rd in the AC in RBI with 133 in 2023, contributed to the Halifax win with a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth. For the game, the shortstop had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.

"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said D'Alberto.
