Nightmare Lose to Scorpions, 3-2

Syracuse picked up a win at Nightmare Stadium, bumping off the New York Nightmare, 3-2. Pitcher Chris Dries was a major reason the Scorpions emerged victorious. Dries got the win, improving to 1-0. He gave up 7 hits and walked 2 over 6.2 innings. He allowed 2 runs. John Landgren was called on to finish, recording his 2nd save.
Tyler Miles had a direct impact on the outcome. Miles contributed a 2-run single in the top of the fourth inning to put Syracuse up, 3-1.
"Chris executed his pitches at a high level," said Syracuse manager Ricardo Lopez.
