Gladiators, Watson Deal Dragons 5-1 Setback
|
Justin Watson was brilliant in helping Phoenix beat the Dallas Dragons, 5-1. Phoenix now owns a record of 49-53.
It was a masterful performance from the popular Watson, who notched 5 strikeouts in 8 innings while allowing 2 hits. Watson goes to 4-5 on the year with 69 strikeouts.
"I thought Justin threw the ball well across the board," said Phoenix manager Matt Tamayo.
