Gladiators Stumble, Lose to Dragons
Led by Adam Wright, the Dallas Dragons defeated the Phoenix Gladiators, 10-4. Wright was 1-1 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Dragons. Nick Kirshner closed it out for Dallas, earning his 6th save. The Dragons now have a mark of 43-59.

An inflection point occurred with no one out in the top of the second. That's when Dragons catcher Dustin Downing hit a sinker from Bob Rehm for a 2-run single. Just like that, Dallas was up, 3-2.
