The Fountain Hills 23ers did just enough to secure a victory over the New York Nightmare, 5-4, in 10 innings at Fountain Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Bill Mosher. Tom Mott, now 6-4, was credited with the win in 1.2 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on 2 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 1. The winning streak has now reached 5 games for the 23ers.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the tenth for Fountain Hills. That's when Josh Mahan hit a run-scoring double off 33-year old left-handed pitcher Tony Rosario to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Mosher.
